Edit Start Call Recording node
Using the Start Call Recording node you can start or continue a recording.
For details on adding a VIER node, see Add a VIER node.
How to edit the Start Call Recording node:
- To make settings, click on the Start Call Recording node.
- The window with the configuration options opens.
- Enter the Maximum Call Recording Duration (in s). After the configured period the call recording is stopped automatically.

To insert the desired value, click on the arrows. - Enter the Call Recording ID. The call recording ID is an arbitrary string to identify the recording if multiple call recordings are created in the same dialog.
- Under Speaker to record, select whether Both Call Partners, or only the Customer or only the Agent are to be recorded.
- Optionally assign a different Label under Settings. This label will be displayed in the Chart.
- Add a Comment if required. This comment will be displayed in the Chart in the node.

see Add a new comment. - Enter an Analytics Step if required. This analytics step is recorded in Cognigy Insights when the node is executed in the dialog.
- To save the settings click Save Node.
- To discard the settings click Cancel.
- The settings have been saved.
